Evaluation of Fantasy Landscape
My shoot was took outside of college, We was given a task to take a shoot of any landscape, and any other images that we could manipulate and put into the Landscape image. I took a verity of images, when i got back into the classroom I looked at my images and picked out the best one for my background image. When I had my background image i looked at the other images and what objects was in them. I played around with different objects to see what would look the best, i decide to go the the bollard from out side of college and place it in the background picture. I used a D100 Digital camera for my shoot, I also used Photoshop software to edit and manipulate my images. I used a range of different techniques to manipulate the bollards and the background. 1st I changed the background to black and white. then I pasted my bollards into the image. I did this several times to get as many bollards as i would like. When the images were in place I used a tool called the blur tool, this helps soften the edges and make it look more realistic. The bollards that are looking as if they are behind the railings, i used the same copy and paste technique, then made them 60% opaque to see where the railing was. When it was clear enough, I used the rubber tool to rub away where the railing is. This is the effect of the railing being in front of the bollard. I didn't encounter any problems just took hard work to keep focused on the little parts. My image reminds me of Seung Woo Back, as his work is similar. Im very please with my work, as I kept focused on it and used Photoshop as I'm not that good with it.
