I manipulated this picture in Photoshop, I used the copy tool so i had two of the same pictures, i then took the eye of the background original, then manipulated the picture using liquefy tool. I made her eyes look bigger and i changed her nose size and changed her shape of her face. once i finished manipulating the picture i clicked O.K. I then clicked the eye back on so both layers are showing.
With this picture I dragged both images in to Photoshop then dragged them on top of each other. I then used a tool called overlay i changed the opacity. I really like this picture :)

Before and After in Photoshop
When I was manipulating this picture i used the brighten and contrast, to make it look better. After I did this manipulation I used a tool called multiply which made this image.
After I played around with the last manipulation I took a step back in my history and manipulated the picture using screen, its made the picture brighter and cleaner. Not many dark shadows.
Again I went back on my history and manipulated this picture by using a tool called the darker tool.

Before and After Photoshop
This is Claudia, the picture is quite dark that I took of her. I will attempt to manipulate it. The reasoning why the picture is quite dark is because the aperture was quite low. Also the shutter speed was to fast. not letting enough light in.

Definition of compare- to not the differences
State how your photograph/s are similar to your chosen photographers work?
Q1.Is your image/s and theirs both in black and white?
A1.
My images are not in black and white, but Duane Michals are.
Q2.
Is your image/s both part of a series or individual images?
A2.
My images are consecutive, one after another, but Duane Michals are not.
Q3.
Is your image/s and theirs both large or small.
A3.
My pictures are not big or small meaning they could be any size, but i wouldnt like to see them on a huge canvas. But Duane Michals is mostly known for small prints, on a large white paper, he has said and I quote 'No one can reproduce my handwriting, but someone else can always make a new print'. Duane Michale annotates his pictures.
Q4.
Is your image/s and their manipulated?
A4.
My pictures are only edited by putting a border around them. Duane Michale manipulates his pictures by writing on them.
Adding borders
To add a border, click on Edit, Stroke
You can change the Width of the border, to what you want it to be, also you can change the colour.
Here is an example of that.
Arranging Pictures 1.1
So continuing with alining the pictures up, click on View, Show then Grid.
You would notice that behind your pictures is a grid, consisting of big boxes and within them boxes, there are four smaller boxes.
Its best to line them up on the same top line. Also what is a good idea is having an equal amount of space between your pictures. You can do this by the mouse and also by the left, right, up and down key arrows . you can zoom in to make sure they are spot on.
Once you have finished alining your pictures, simply click on View, Show then Grid.
Then your screen should look like this.
Arranging Pictures
Upload photoshop, Click open new.
This window will appear, make sure the resolution is at 300 and the measurement is in pixels/inches, if it was on cm, the image would be to small.
This should appear on your screen,
if u want your screen horizontal instead of vertical, click Image thats on top of the screen, on the drop down menu, you should find Image Rotation then 90 degrees clockwise.
This should look like your screen.
First you drag you pictures into photoshop, then all the pictures will line up at the top of the window bar, then click and drag your pictures out, the should look like this.
Then once you have separated all the pictures, again click and drag into the blank page you created.
then your images should become either quite big or quite small, you can change the size to fit the page.
Once you have changed the size of one, its best all the pictures look the same size. So click on the picture , then Edit, Transform then Again
Once all the pictures are the same size you can double check by lining them up,

PhotoWorkshop 1.2"
Changing the format of the saving image from JNG to Tiff as
Tiff doesn't flatten any image and remembers everything about the image.
You can see I have changed it to a Tiff, I could of changed the format to photoshop as it would be ideal, but photoshop format might not always open on every other computer.
